It seems like it is so difficult to shop for clothing that matches your passion, especially if you’re an actual fan of Star Wars and all you can find is a God-awful JarJar Binks t-shirt. I won’t get into what kind of tantrum I threw in public, I’m sure you can understand my pain.
Nerd-dom is becoming a “fad” now, so finding legitimate t-shirts to wear, or finding fan memorabilia can be, if you will, a chore. Either that, or whatever you find that’s not on Amazon or Ebay is uber-expensive and you’re really not in the mood to weigh out if you should make a car payment or buy that epic Iron Throne to put out on your coffee table for all your guests to see when they walk through your door (really, its a toss-up).
I am here to tell you, its going to be okay: take your thumb out of your mouth and uncurl yourself from that ball you’ve curled yourself into, wrapped up in your Thor cloak. Finding collectibles and clothing for your favorite movies, books, cartoons, and comics isn’t actually all that hard, and it doesn’t really take as much digging as you think.
I’ve done some of the work for you, and made a list of my top five favorite sites to visit and buy from. They win at giving you some pretty creative relics and clothes to show off your most-loved fantasy heroes.
This site rocks when it comes to searching for anything even the slightest bit geeky, not just clothing. Find Iron Man, Jon Snow, Darth Vader, or even Wolverine
I Want One of Those: this site is so clean looking and chic. They are super organized and the products they have are awesome. Lightsaber BBQ tongs?! Um, yes.
3. Six Dollar Shirts
This site is just shirts and sweatshirts, but I’m adding it because I bought a couple really epic shirts from them and I love visiting the site… AND the folks running it have a pretty cool sense of
4. Snorg Tees
I am so sure that so many people have heard of this site. Mostly because…it’s amazing.
“Crows before hoes”. That’s all I can say.
Hopefully this helps. My fashion sense and toy collection match that of an 8-year-old boy living in 1979. No promises. Enjoy.
